This historical park is an integral part of the town’s history. In1858, Farmer Fuquay uncovered the spring that currently anchors this park. It was later turned into a tourist attraction, which brought thousands of people to the area. A town grew up around the springs to service the many visitors, and that town was Fuquay-Varina. It’s easy to see why so many traveled great distances to visit this place. It’s beautiful, and definitely worth a stop.
