Tim Petrinec is a REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty and the founder of QC Home Advisors, a Charlotte-based real estate advisory practice focused on downsizers, move-up buyers, strategic sellers, and relocating professionals throughout the greater Charlotte metro.

Since 2020, Tim has completed more than 200 transactions and remains an active real estate investor with direct experience in property acquisition, renovation, and long-term holds. That hands-on background gives his clients a more grounded perspective on pricing, condition, and value than a traditional agent brings to the table.

Before real estate, Tim built and led the Sales and Service division of a digital ad agency within a medical device company. Prior to that, he worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones. Both roles sharpened his ability to analyze data, communicate complex decisions clearly, and advocate for his clients' financial interests; skills he applies directly to every transaction.

Tim works primarily with clients in Charlotte's established neighborhoods, including Myers Park, Dilworth, SouthPark, and Cotswold, as well as relocating buyers coming into the market from out of state. He brings the same level of preparation and market depth to a $500,000 move-up purchase as he does to a $1.5 million sale.

Originally from western New York, Tim has called Charlotte home since 2007. He lives here, invests here, and knows this market at a level that only comes from being a participant in it, not just an observer.
